Privacy Policy

This policy describes how AI Quotation Maker ("the App"), provided by Techub Inc, collects, uses, and protects your information. By using the App, you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

• Account information: full name, email address, phone number, and password (stored as a secure hash, never in plain text).
• Business information: company name, logo, signature, address, tax/registration numbers, and bank/payment details you enter for use on your quotations and invoices.
• Client and product data: names, contact details, and pricing information you add to generate documents.
• Contacts (optional): if you choose to import a contact as a client, the App reads that contact from your device. This only happens when you explicitly trigger an import.
• Documents: the quotations, invoices, and other documents you create, and their status.
• Payment information: when you subscribe to a paid plan, your mobile money number or card payment is processed by Paynow (Zimbabwe); we do not store your card details ourselves.
• Push notification token: a device identifier used to deliver notifications, if you enable them.
• Usage data: basic technical logs needed to operate and secure the service.

How we use your information

• To create and manage your account, company profile, and documents.
• To process subscription payments via Paynow.
• To power the AI features (e.g. description writer, business insights) — text you submit to these features is sent to Google's Gemini API for processing.
• To send transactional emails (e.g. password reset, invitations) and push notifications you've enabled.
• To sign you in, if you choose Google Sign-In.

Third parties we share data with

• Google (Gemini API, Google Sign-In): for AI generation features and authentication.
• Paynow (Zimbabwe): to process subscription payments.
• Expo: to deliver push notifications.
• Resend: to deliver transactional emails.
• We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

Data storage and security

Your data is stored in a hosted PostgreSQL database and protected with tenant-level access controls so that only your own company's data is accessible to you. We use industry-standard practices such as password hashing and encrypted connections.

Your rights

You can access, correct, or delete your account data at any time by contacting us. Deleting your account removes your personal data from our systems, subject to any records we are legally required to retain.

Children's privacy

The App is intended for business use and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
